De exit is approaching Three body problem on Netflix: Series by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, based on a trilogy of novels by Liu Cixin that has been in development for years, will hit Netflix in January, and in the meantime, one of the main characters has finally broken his silence on the project.
let `s talk about Liam Cunninghamwhich, together with John Bradley is one of the characters in the saga of Game of Thrones participates in the series. Cunningham plays Thomas Wade and he told Variety about the role:
He is an extraordinary person. It’s been a long time since I’ve played anything like this character. I think the irony is that what they (Benioff and Weiss) wanted me to do on this show is nothing like what they wanted me to do on Game of Thrones. (Davos) was seen as something of a subtle moral compass on the show, not Wade. Will it come as a shock to people who think I only play one type of character, shall we say? Wade is a bit of a problem I would say. And he’s a scout. He is very focused on theoretical physics and quantum entanglement and all kinds of scientific research. However, those people that we meet at the beginning of the show… they are part of Mr. Wade’s business circle, and they are definitely not scientists!
The first book of the novel trilogy is about revenge. Ye Wenjiewho, after losing his father, helps aliens invade earth. This is the series synopsis:
A fateful decision by a woman in 1960s China echoes through space and time until it reaches a group of brilliant scientists in the present. As the laws of nature crumble before their eyes, five former colleagues are reunited to face the greatest threat in human history.
