Three years ago, Bulls teammates called Michael Jordan a “terrible player” and accused the 60-year-old legend of “taking all his money”

Michael Jordan’s friendship with Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen seemed to be on a rocky road even before the Netflix documentary surfaced. Pippen publicly criticized producers for giving Jordan extensive editing rights. The former Bulls star believes Jordan was trying to portray himself as the greater person. A few months ago, he even called Jordan a “terrible player.”

Pippen always shared his thoughts on the “GOAT” controversy and even shared a negative experience he had with Michael Jordan.

He started using golf clubs when he was a rookie.

Upon hearing this, an off-screen producer told him that this was a great move by Michael Jordan for a young player. In response, Pippen replied with a smile:“He was trying to lure me so he could take all my money.”. They didn’t reveal whether Pippen played golf with Michael Jordan in “The Last Dance,” or whether he lost to Jordan.

But Pippen later mentioned in other interviews that he didn’t fully appreciate Jordan’s talent because the rookie was dealing with back problems at the time. Pippen’s doctor told him “If you want a career in basketball, don’t play golf. Later in an interview with a golf website, Pippen confirmed that he had never played golf with Michael Jordan. He then said that if his back performed well during his rookie season, he would play golf and would definitely beat Jordan on the golf course.

Feud with Michael Jordan

No matter what people say, without the addition of Scottie Pippen, the Bulls dynasty may never have begun. The 57-year-old star also expressed frustration with the payment Jordan received for his documentary. Pippen claimed Jordan received a whopping $10 million from doctors while most of his teammates, including Pippen, were denied any payments. However, there has been no official confirmation of the amount Jordan or his company Jump 23 received from the doctor.

Scottie Pippen says the Bulls started winning championships after he joined the team. So far, things don’t look promising for us to believe MJ and Pippen’s friendship will be rekindled.
