Tips for making tortilla soup crispy and delicious

  • 2 liters chicken stock
  • 1 cup grated aged cheese
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • Puffed pork skin
  • chopped cilantro
  • chopped onions
  • Salt to taste

Prepare:

  1. Fry tortilla strips until crispy. Drain and reserve them.
  2. Combine garlic, onions, tomatoes and roasted pasilla peppers. Put a pan with two tablespoons of oil on the fire and pour the grated tomatoes and epazote branches into it. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add chicken broth to casserole; once boiling, remove epazote branches, check seasoning, then add tacos.
  4. Serve the soup with aged cheese, avocado, cilantro and onions. Garnish with epazote leaves.
