Today’s Diary | “Experience Spain”: CCPA Multicultural Performance Show

This Saturday, September 23, at 9:00 pm, the performance “Sentir España” will be presented at the American Cultural Center of Paraguay (CCPA). The show is produced by independent Argentinian actors, performing Spanish dance and music.

The proposal is a musical and choreographic show of Spanish genres, with a repertoire that includes all styles: vernacular, bolero, stylized and flamenco; reflecting the hybridity and diversity of Spanish culture that embodies the influence it has on us Latin American cultural influences.

Its repertoire is composed primarily by dancers and teachers. Sybil Miatello

, pays tribute to her on the anniversary of her death, acknowledging her immense contribution to the Spanish genre. Dancers and singers promise to provide all audiences with an artistic performance of over 60 (sixty) minutes.

Directed and produced by teacher, dancer and choreographer Nathalia Rodríguez; formed by Miatello, the only Argentinian Spanish dance professional to win this award Mariema Royal Conservatory of Music From Madrid, Spain.

Rodriguez has had an extensive career in dance and stage performance in large-scale dance music productions. Currently, she is Director of Cultural Affairs in Corrientes (Argentina) and Director/President of Fundación Gitane Centros de Estudios Artísticos.

The cast consists of professional dancers: Marian Benítez, Andrea Bruna, Ivon Nuñez, Antonella Lemos, Jazmín García, Iara Fernández and Nathalia Rodriguez; soloists Inés Benítez Dindat and Juan Manuel ·Martinez.

Technical and production team: Constanza Sotomayor, Victor Romero, Diego Villar, María del Carmen Molinas, Guillermo Billordo, Ángel Romero and Celeste Gómez.

It should be noted that the main purpose is to create connections between countries through art and culture in all its manifestations, therefore the proposal invites guest dancers from the city of Asuncion: Nadya Torres and Diego Villar.
