Since retiring from the NFL, Tom Brady has lost 10 pounds because of less stress in his life.
The 46-year-old retired quarterback left professional football in February – his hesitation to give up his sports career reportedly contributed to his split from Gisele Bündchen – and now says he feels worse as a result Healthier than ever.
“Yeah, I lost about 10 pounds, but I It’s actually pretty healthy now.
“I’m not under the same pressure as when I was playing, so it’s allowed me to focus more on my physical health.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion added the importance of focusing on health and wellness: “There are so many other things you can prioritize — career, kids, relationships, family, the greater good, community.
“But at the end of the day, physical and mental health should be at the top of the pyramid.”
Tom and his ex-wife Gisele, 43, who have son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivienne, 10, divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
Tom has previously made headlines for his strict diet – which excludes white sugar, dairy, white flour, caffeine and iodized salt.
He even avoids eating strawberries and nightshades.
In July, Tom revealed that he’s still sticking to his eating habits after retiring, telling People: “I don’t think it’s a strict diet. I think it’s just trying to make healthy choices that allow me to live my life.” The life I want.

Gisele revealed in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning News that aired over the weekend that she was blindsided by her split from Tom and had always wanted to have a long-lasting marriage like her parents.
She said: “(Our breakup) was not something I dreamed of or hoped for. My parents have been married for 50 years and I really wanted this to happen.
“But I think you have to accept that, you know, sometimes like in your 20s, sometimes you grow together and sometimes you grow apart.”
