Tom Brady and CJ Stroud – two of the best NFL quarterbacks the Ohio State and Michigan football programs have ever produced. Brady, who recently retired, is hailed as the greatest player of all time and holds world records including seven Super Bowl rings. Stroud, conversely, is in his rookie year in the league, but has already shown tremendous potential as a rising star with the Texans. This week, before “The Game,” the former Wolverine and former Buckeye quarterback made a bet.

CJ Stroud, the first quarterback to lose to a Michigan football team (twice) in a decade, has struggled since entering the NFL. Still, any Wolverine fan can and will bring up his 0-2 record against the Maize and Blue whenever he’s mentioned.
Is there anything else Michigan fans like to bring up (rightfully so)? Tom Brady — Quarterback for the Wolverines from 1998 to 2000, leading Lloyd Carr’s Wolverines to some impressive seasons, winning the Big Ten Conference Championship and New Year’s Six Bowl Championship.
Are there Super Bowl rings on the table?
With just nine days left until “The Game,” two top-three teams with 11-0 records could face off against each other for the second straight year, Tom Brady and C.J. Stroud Stroud made a bet. If Ohio State wins, Tom will have to give up a coveted Super Bowl ring; however, if the Michigan football team wins, Stroud will have to give up some young talent so Brady can return to the NFL.
“So, we made a bet,” Tom Brady said on his podcast. “If Ohio State wins, you get one of my Super Bowl rings. If Michigan beats Ohio State, then you have to put all your youth, your agility, your time in the 40-yard dash And all your future years in the NFL are up to me. “How about that? “
Stroud quickly agreed. “It’s a bet,” he said.
Nine days.
Obviously, this was all done in jest, but we wouldn’t be too shocked if the former Michigan football legend placed some bets on Ohio State’s games this year. For now, the Wolverines appear to be a safe bet — especially considering their back-to-back wins over the Buckeyes in 2021 and 2022.
