Meta partners with celebrities to create AI avatars

As Meta tries to catch up to ChatGPT, it’s hiring dozens of big-name celebrities to style and voice Meta’s new artificial intelligence voice assistant. Celebrities will embody artificial intelligence and play them.

These alternate selves carry new pseudonyms that distance them from the celebrity’s real name, in keeping with their new chatbot gig. Among the 28 artificial intelligence assistants launched by Meta, these are the stars that stand out.

Meta AI is already in beta for some users in the United States and will appear in Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Quest 3. You can chat one-on-one or send messages in a group chat.
