Tom Brady is the latest former NFL player to speak out about terrorism and brutal violence amid Hamas’ attacks on Israel. The attacks have so far killed more than 1,000 people and injured thousands more.
Brady issue a statement “There should be no gray area in condemning Hamas for its terrorist attacks on Israeli citizens. No one deserves this. My heart breaks for all the innocent lives lost in Israel and Gaza this week, and for what must come next,” the tweet read. “My family and I will continue to pray for the families caught up in this tragedy.” “

Tom Brady visited Israel in 2006, when he joined Patriots owner Robert Kraft on one of Kraft’s famous trips to Israel with NFL players . During his visit, Brady not only got to see the country, but also the Israel Defense Forces, which are currently battling Hamas terror attacks.
Many people around the NFL world have also spoken out about attacks on Israel, including Kraft. “We have to fight hatred in this country,” Kraft said. “Part of that is education. Do people know that Hamas is preaching to wipe out all Jews from the face of the earth? … There are things that are wrong, like ours.” People have to stand together, hold hands, and we have to educate ourselves too. I can’t believe objectively good people would support this kind of behavior,” said Fox News’ Ryan Gados.
Additionally, the NFL and at least 13 teams have publicly condemned the violence. Falcons owner Arthur Blank has provided more than $750,000 in aid to Israel to help victims and first responders.
