Tom Brady rules out Michigan sign-stealing booster ‘Uncle T’

The most interesting possible identity of the mysterious Michigan supporter has been ruled out, other than the pseudonym “Uncle T.”

Earlier Friday, Yahoo Sports reporters Dan Wetzel and Ross Dellenger broke the news that NCAA investigators found that a Michigan booster nicknamed Uncle T was at least one of the sign-stealing operations of former Marine Connor Stallion one of the founders.

Since Tom Brady is a University of Michigan alumnus who was allegedly involved in fraud during his NFL career, and his name begins with a T, he became the top suspect on social media within minutes of the news breaking people.

Unfortunately, Wetzel Clarify in a tweet “‘Uncle T’ is not Tom Brady.”

Stallion resigned from the Michigan State football program earlier this month after being accused of traveling to numerous Wolverines opponents to steal signs.

Citing Freedom of Information Act disclosures earlier this week, The Associated Press reported that the Star Lions have not yet requested reimbursement from the Michigan State football program for expenses related to road games.

While signal stealing isn’t technically prohibited in college football, the NCAA has banned on-site advance scouting since 1994.

Last week, the Big Ten suspended Michigan State head coach Jim Harbaugh for the remaining three regular-season games this year over the program’s signal-stealing.

On Thursday, after initially launching legal action against the conference, Michigan announced that Harbaugh would receive a suspension and the Big Ten would conclude its investigation.

Harbaugh has repeatedly denied knowledge of the sign-stealing scheme and there is no evidence linking him to it.

The NCAA investigation into Michigan remains ongoing.

Michigan State fired linebackers coach Chris Partridge on Friday.

Earlier on Friday, Yahoo Sports reported that while there was no evidence that Partridge had knowledge of the sign-stealing plan as it occurred, he was later charged with covering up the evidence.
