Jeter purchased the two parcels of land on which the home sits in 2005 for $2.3 million. He subsequently built the 22,000-square-foot home and spent the Major League Baseball offseason there. The home is just a few miles from the New York Yankees spring training facility, which happens to be across the street from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Raymond James Stadium.
