Tom Brady’s final game jersey could fetch $2.5 million at auction

Tom Brady’s jThe jersey from the final game of his unparalleled career is expected to fetch up to $2.5 million when it goes up for auction in Las Vegas next month.

Brady, known as the “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) by fans, played the final game of his 23-year career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a game in which his iconic No. 12 jersey would become Featured on the November 12th jersey. According to reports, the auction was held on the 17th by RM Sotheby’s and Wynn Las Vegas in partnership with the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion’s jersey is listed for between $1.5 million and $2.5 million, and if it sells for the right price, it could become the most valuable football jersey in auction history.

Reports indicate that this record is currently held by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana’s Super Bowl XIX and Super Bowl XXIII jerseys, which were sold earlier this year. Price is $1,212,000.

Brady wore this jersey in his final game on January 16 against the Dallas Cowboys.

RM Sotheby’s said: “The jersey is in excellent condition and consistent with match use, with significant grass stains and field marks.”

“Only a handful of athletes are universally considered the greatest in the sport: Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Muhammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky, Babe Ruth and Tom Brady.”
