The actor says that as far as he knows, McGuire and Garfield will not be joining him in Spider-Man 3.
Tom Holland has shot down all the Spider-Man theories once and for all.
Amid rumors about Spider-Men, that Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield, who would be joining Holland for Spider-Man 3, the British actor came forward to finally refute the claims.
During an interview with Esquire, Holland said, “No, no, they won’t appear in this movie. Unless the biggest information has been kept from me, which I think is too big a secret to be kept from me. But so far no. It will be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies we’ve been making. “
With that said, Holland admitted that given his history of accidentally leaking information about movies, he doesn’t know much about the plot.
“Honestly, I have no idea what this movie is about and I’ve been shooting for eight weeks.”
The actor is famous for being unable to keep a secret, as he notoriously ruined his character’s fate before the release of Avengers: Infinity War.
After that, they didn’t give him an Avengers: Endgame script to avoid setbacks like those in the future.
Director Joe Russo previously said that Holland only understands his lines and not the entire script: “Tom Holland understands his lines and that’s it. He doesn’t even know who he’s acting with. We will just use very vague terms to describe to you what is happening in the scene because you have a hard time keeping your mouth shut.
