The trailer for Ridley Scott’s long-awaited new film, Napoleon, has been released, starring Joaquin Phoenix, who will play the role of Napoleon Bonaparte.

The film, which also stars Vanessa Kirby as Giuseppina di Beauharnais, Bonaparte’s first wife, will be released in Italian theaters by Eagle Pictures starting November 23, 2023.
The film follows the life of Napoleon from his origins to his military career, up until his ascension to the throne. The story will be told through a relationship as unstable as it is compelling, with his first wife, Giuseppina. The film tells about the famous battles of the commander and his insatiable ambition, driven by the strategic mind of what is called “the far-sighted emperor.”
