From now on, however, passengers in Europe will be even more comfortable. From now on, airlines will no longer charge users for carry-on luggage. The latest resolution from the European Parliament requires companies to produce such suitcases for free.
Therefore, the request to classify hand luggage as an “essential item” has been forwarded to the European Commission, following a resolution by the Petitions Committee of the European Parliament. As a result, airlines will not be able to charge for carrying luggage in the cabin.
According to the FACUA report, some of the companies reported Ryanair, Vueling, easyJet and Volotea are some companies that charge passengers for carry-on luggage.
