renew: A first look at the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Canary has emerged via sneaker leaker @sharkicks. Inspired by the colors of Scott’s high school, Lawrence E. Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, the shoe features a white pebbled leather base, yellow suede overlays and the rapper’s The singer’s signature blue pebbled leather reverse Swoosh.

While the leaked images are covered in watermarks and more frequent riffs than in Scott’s music, they also show off plenty of other incidental details. The shoe features yellow, red and blue laces, Cactus Jack branding on the lateral quarter, left heel tab and insole, and is completed with a white midsole and soft brown outsole. The “Canary” is a rare Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 collaboration that doesn’t stick to a dark or earthy color scheme (his previous tripleheader collaborations with Fragment Design and Jordan Brand were the only other examples) and, interestingly enough, Its yellow and blue hues are not unlike those of Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina, Michael Jordan’s alma mater and the inspiration for several Air Jordan models over the years.
