According to Live Nation’s announcement yesterday, Travis Scott will tour North America this fall and winter with his Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour.
The 28-show tour kicks off on October 11 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte and travels to major US cities including Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and New York, ending on December 29 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. In addition, the Utopia – Circus Maximus tour will include Scott’s biggest ever show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on November 5th. But that’s not all: despite Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s announcement earlier this month that Scott was returning to his hometown as part of his upcoming tour, the Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour currently has no dates for a concert in Houston. If Scott returns to Houston to perform, it will be the first tragedy at the Astroworld festival in November 2021, with 10 people killed and hundreds injured in a deadly stampede. In fact, since the events of November 5, 2021, thousands of alleged victims have filed over 400 civil lawsuits against Scott, Live Nation, and other festivalgoers.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 31 at 10:00 am local time on travisscott.com. Live Nation has announced that $2 for every ticket sold will be donated to the rapper’s Cactus Jack Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to support Houston’s youth through toy rides, scholarships for HBCU students, and education and creativity spending. .
