A new auction of Twitter memorabilia, furniture and symbols has been announced and will be available for purchase starting September 12 with a minimum bid of $25 per lot. Auction titled “Twitter Rebranded: Online Auction with Memorabilia, Artwork, Office Assets & More!” will end on September 14 and is part of the company’s transformation operation, bought by Elon Musk for $44 billion and recently transformed into X.
With the new brainchild of Elon Musk 584 lots will be put up for auction. among coffee tables, oil paintings, musical instruments, dozens of desks, chairs galore, huge birdcages and a DJ booth complete with everything.
There is clearly no shortage of i in all of this Blue bird logos on Twitter like the one that’s still hanging at the San Francisco headquarters and will have to be removed. Among oil paintingstwo are especially important: the famous selfie of Hollywood stars taken by Ellen DeGeneres during the 2014 Oscars and the one that reproduced the photo posted on Twitter Barack Obama when he was re-elected in November 2012. At that time, the post of the former President of the United States, in which he hugged his wife, was in the lead in the number of likes.
Although the starting price of the auction lots is $25., we expect much higher numbers for logos and memorabilia. Suffice it to say that at an auction in San Francisco, bids for a statue of the company’s famous logo reached $100,000.
