Treatment was given in two private hospitals. I died from Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS). In DSS, health officials said, the body experiences severe leakage of plasma, severe bleeding and organ damage, manifested by elevated liver enzymes. After the death, Chief Medical Officer Dr Manoj Agrawal directed the District Malaria Officer (DMO) and other medical officials to take intensive measures such as fogging and spraying of insecticides, to check mosquito menace in Sarojinigar area.
