Urgent: Israel: Hamas has lost control of northern Gaza – the latest world news at the last minute

Breaking news! Rising civilian deaths in Gaza have called into question the path Israel will take in the war against Hamas. The harshest criticism came from the United Nations.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that the bombing of civilians in Gaza does not contribute to improving Israel’s image.

Guterres pointed to the extent of civilian casualties, and said: “It is clear that there is an error in the Israeli military method.”

UN High Commissioner Volker Türk stated that “collective punishment of Palestinian civilians amounts to a war crime” and criticized the forced migration of civilians.

The Israeli army announced that 50,000 civilians migrated from Gaza City to the southern regions only yesterday.

Statements came one after another from NATO and the G7 countries.

The G7 foreign ministers meeting in Japan noted that Israel must respect international law while defending itself.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg pointed to the seriousness of the humanitarian situation in Gaza, and stated that allied countries support a cessation of hostilities to obtain aid.

But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that the clashes will not stop.

Instead of the Israeli army saying yesterday, “We entered the city center,” it announced today that Hamas has lost control of northern Gaza.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization announced that it had sent medical supplies to Al-Shifa Hospital, which is located in the middle of the conflict zone. He stated that aid had arrived at the hospital.

Israeli soldiers allegedly came too close to Gaza’s largest health facility, where thousands of civilians fleeing bombardment have taken refuge.
