American President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he will again impose 10% tariffs on Canadian aluminum on the 16th, under the argument that Canada “takes advantage” of the United States.

Under the condition that Canada “does not flood our country with its exports and does not destroy all of our jobs in the aluminum sector,” the American government raised tariffs, Trump pointed out during a speech at an Ohio factory. “But Canadian producers have broken this commitment,” he said.

Trump announced his decision, “which defends the American industry, again imposing tariffs on Canada’s aluminum, which takes advantage of us, as always.”
