Vaccination modules installed in central streets – El Heraldo de Chihuahua

To keep girls, boys and adolescents up to date on immunizations, the Ministry of Health has installed vaccination modules at Plaza 1 and various shopping malls in the city. Starting in October, start getting the flu vaccine.

One of the vaccination modules is installed in the city center on Libertad and Tercera streets, where health workers provide at least 6 vaccines to the population.

The existing hexavalent vaccines are mainly targeted at children aged 2, 4, 6 and 18 months. This biological vaccine protects against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae type B, and polio.

Rotavirus vaccine is also available for ages 2, 4 and 7 months. Pneumococcal is indicated for children 2, 4 and 12 months and 4 years old and the elderly. In addition to the MMR vaccine, vaccines against measles, rubella and mumps are also available for children aged 1 to 6 to 9 years old.

For 14-year-old girls, receive human papillomavirus vaccine; for pregnant women at 20 weeks of pregnancy, receive TDPA.

The modules are installed in the first box with a schedule from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, as well as at the entrance to self-service stores and supermarkets.

People are invited to take advantage of available vaccines and are reminded that flu vaccinations will begin in October.
