The Venice Film Festival 80 (30 August – 9 September) has confirmed that it will announce the official selection on 25 July at 10am, during an official press conference it will preside over.Alberto Barbera, artistic director of Venice, and Roberto Cicutto, president of the Biennale.
Venice 80: Who will be in the competition?
According to Screen Daily, the films in competition at this Venice Film Festival will be poor things Science Fiction by Yorgos Lanthimos with Emma Stone; Migrant drama of Matteo Garrone i captain; and the dark comedy of Pablo Larrain el conde About Augusto Pinochet
Ferrari also potentially destined for Lido Comedy by David Michaud, by Michael Mann with Adam Driver and Penélope Cruz magicians! Pete Davidson, with Naomi Scott and Orlando Bloom, E challengers By Luca Guadagnino with Zendaya and Josh O’Connor.
Possible films include Michael Mann’s Ferrari with Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz.
Venice 80: President of the Jury

Director of St. Omer Alice Diop will preside over the jury of the award for the debut film Luigi De Laurentiis and will be its director to Claire Jonas Carpignano will chair the Horizons jury.
