From August 30 to September 9, the Laguna comes alive with thousands of film colors from80th Venice International Film Festival. Thus, the Venice Film Festival began with a red carpet immediately filled with stars that marched alongside new Lexus LBX – Lexus Breakthrough Crossover, a car first introduced on the beach that best reflects the innovative and pioneering spirit of the automotive brand. “Every year we strive to show and tell you something new, extraordinary, and in this wonderful environment, the absolute protagonist will be new Lexus LBX – an elegant car designed for lovers of luxury and comfort. And this year, the actors, directors and all the protagonists of the most coveted red carpet in the world will arrive on the red carpet in Lexus cars, in particular the models of the Electrified line. From Patrick Dempsey to Adam Driver, godmother of Caterina Murino, to award-winning Wes Anderson and competitive directors like Pablo Larraín, there are many main characters who have arrived on the red carpet aboard the proving grounds. Lexus Electrified the lineup includes the RX Hybrid Turbo, NX Plug in Hybrid, UX Premium Hybrid, RZ Full Electric, ES Premium Hybrid and the Lexus LM luxury minivan. As the official car of the film festival (7 consecutive years in this edition), the Lexus reflects in fact, one of the key principles of the event: sustainability.
As follows from the sustainability manifesto signed by Biennale President Roberto Cicutto, the exhibition provides for the use of electricity from renewable sources and other actions aimed at conserving natural resources, recycling materials, reusing fittings and equipment, reducing the impact of the mobility of people and things. These steps, aimed at protecting the lagoon and its special ecosystem, have already led to a good result: the 78th Venice International Film Festival, which will be held in 2021, achieved carbon neutrality for the first time and today, in 2023, all events, including for the first time the 18th International Architectural Exhibition, received this certificate.

A commitment to protecting the environment is also transmitted through Oedipus Rex Award for Inclusion and Sustainabilityofficial accompaniment recognition of the Film Biennale and selected among 12 films from the four main sections of the film festival’s competition. The winner will be recognized by a jury that includes an actress as a bearer of an inclusive and sustainable message. And while the eyes of moviegoers are riveted to the red carpet – where they are expected among others Adam Driver, for a role in a biopic ferrari; jDry Chastainmain character Memory; for the long awaited film Priscillaunder the brand of Sofia Coppola, and the main characters Caylee Spaeny AND Jacob Elordi but above all the same Priscilla Presley; Woody Allen For Coupe de chance; Leah Seydoux For Beast Bertrand Bonello, a soul dedicated to sustainability, continues through additional exhibitions.
