It starts off with a bang, some would say it’s the most exciting day of the entire festival, with the return to the Lido of Chilean Pablo Larraín, a former Latin American auteur film prodigy with Tony Manero and Post Mortem who landed in Hollywood with Jackie and Spencer. El Conde begins with a premise as eccentric as the director’s allegorical film classic of its kind: Augusto Pinochet is a vampire desperately looking for a way to die.
And then there is Michael Mann with the long-awaited ferrari: Crazy Cars, Hugh Jackman, Adam Driver and… well, need I say more?
Nostalgic for the nineties, grown up with Nikita, Leon AND Fifth Elementthey don’t want to get lost dog man (only the same title as Garrone’s film released a few years ago) by Luc Besson.
