Instead, Lubo will bring director Giorgio Rights to the Lido for the first time, from 30 August to 9 September. Among the great 6 Italian films announced the director of the Venice Film Festival Alberto Barbera. One more than last year’s top five, responding with a raise to criticism: “It’s a quality, don’t call it autarky.”

The plot of “Lubo”
“Lubo” in theaters November 9a three-hour film based on the short novel. “Sower”, the literary debut of the Piedmontese Mario Cavatore, who knew the world of nomads from the inside. The main character is young Jenish, a nomadic ethnic group, who in the winter of 1939 was called up for military service in the Swiss army to protect the border. There, his cousin joins him to reveal that the gendarmes took his children away because they were gypsy children, following the re-education program of Street Children, a eugenics-based organization rampant in Europe in the 1930s.

Also in the competition is another film with an Emilian imprint, such as the American director’s biopic Ferrari. Michael Mann. Based on a screenplay written from Brock Yates’ book Enzo Ferrari: Man and Machine, in which Adam Driver is almost unrecognizably transformed into a Ferrari and Penélope Cruz, the film only narrates three months of Drake’s life. In the summer of 1957, Mann said: “Everything that Ferrari was was contrary to what it could become. The company is failing. His wife finds out about another woman. Signed by Liliana Cavani, born in Carpi in 1933, who will receive a well-deserved award. Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement. Critics’ Week will also see a re-introduction of Meeting at Night, the director’s first directing. A short film only ten minutes long, made in 1959-61.
Other performances at the exhibition
Also out of competition is the short film “Welcome to Paradise” by Leonardo Di Costanzo, filmed in collaboration with the school. Creation of the cinema by Marco Bellocchio in Bobbio. The accompanying section “Giornate degli autori” opens with Antonio Pisu’s new film “Nina dei lupi” based on the novel by Alessandro Bertante, produced by Paolo Rossi Pisu’s Genoma Films in Bologna. Bologna distribution company Chudo Pictures will present 10 films, including 3 competition films, including French Stéphane Brizet, and White Wing Group, a publishing company and record company from Modena, will present five films for which they have prepared a soundtrack, starting with Ljubo with original music by Marco Biscarini. Finally, the Venice Classic program also includes the restoration of the Bolognese laboratory L’immagine ritrovata, the 1995 film by Hong Kong director Yongfan Bugis Street.
