Yesterday, the Tempetary Club’s football school had a passionate match. They paid tribute to Bruno, a Little League baseball player and captain of the 2009 team who died this week.
“Many emotions invade our hearts, but we must have faith in the Creator, continue to believe in becoming better, care and respect each other, and become stronger and more united…” wrote the school’s account on its Facebook.
«Bruno: You will always be in our hearts. Thank you for being part of the Tembetary family. Goodbye, great left-back,” read another tribute.
Last Monday, Bruno’s parents took him to Villa Elisa Hospital because of pain and fever, and after doctors treated him, they took him home. The second time, they took him again because the pain didn’t go away. On their third trip to the hospital, he felt very unwell and was immediately transferred to Acostaú Hospital, where he died. His parents denounced neglect as the little boy was frequently treated for dengue or chikungunya fever; an autopsy revealed the child died of acute pneumonia.
