From June 28 AND until next October 1st, Palazzo Albergati From Bologna hosts one of the most visited photography exhibitions of the year after its great success at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, where it was literally stormed.

“timeless time” is the name of a journey through the iconic and timeless images of the photographer. Vincent Peters which is a selection of black and white works in which light plays a major role in defining the emotions and telling the stories of the subjects depicted and their inherent ability to reflect beauty.
Christian Bale, Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel, Laetitia Casta, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, David Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Milla Jovovich, John Malkovich, Charlize Theron, Emma Watson and Greta Ferro are just some of the famous people whose portraits are on display at the Palazzo Albergati.
Photographs taken by Vincent Peters between 2001 and 2021. who, using impeccable lighting, elevates his characters to a position that often goes beyond their celebrity status.

What Vincent Peters depicts is the world of stars and celebrities, the modern Olympus, which, dissolving in the atmosphere of Italian neo-realist cinema, approaches the public eye, becoming familiar and recognizable.

His shots are fairy tale stories made up of overlapping layers that interact and complement each other. His work, in fact, is characterized by stratification and differentiation: each element that converges and thickens in each of its individual frames forms a layer that never loses its individuality and distinction. And as these unique layers meet, each image of Peters tells a story. Until it becomes a movie in one frame.

Vincent Peters was born in Bremen, Germany in 1969 and moved to New York at the age of twenty to work as a photography assistant. Returning to Europe in 1995, he worked in various art galleries and on personal projects, and in 1999 he began his career at the Giovanni Testino agency as a fashion photographer.
Over the years, Vincent Peters has specialized in celebrity portraits, shot iconic advertising campaigns for magazines around the world, and is distinguished by his cinematic style.
His portfolio includes work for brands such as Armani, Celine, Hugo Boss, Adidas, Bottega Veneta, Diesel, Dunhill, Guess, Hermes, Lancome, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Netflix and many more. His work has been exhibited in international art galleries including, for example, Camera Work in Berlin, Fotografiska in Stockholm and the prestigious Art Basel in Switzerland.
