Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior traveled 6,000 miles to spend eight hours with a world-renowned tattoo artist only to discover a glaring mistake.
The Brazilian striker and 2022 Champions League finalist took advantage of a two-week break in the Spanish football calendar to travel to the United States.
Outside of football, Vinicius loves basketball and has met and spent time with living NBA legends LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In honor of his second favorite sport, the 23-year-old then traveled to Los Angeles to visit world-famous tattoo artist Ganga to get a stunning back tattoo featuring a host of basketball legends.
Ganga has previously worked with celebrities like Carlos Alcaraz, Jake Paul and LeBron himself, so Vinnie is in good hands.
During the eight-hour training session, the Brazilian put on his No. 7 jersey alongside the likes of Pele, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Muhammad Ali.
He also added the words “mentality” and “Black Lives Matter,” but the mistake was Jordan’s.
Chicago Bulls legend Jordan, widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time, is pictured preparing to take a shot when he makes an embarrassing mistake.
In the photo, the legendary No. 23 shoots free throws with his left hand, something he has never done as a right-handed player.
After this was noticed on Twitter, many fans were keen to point out the mistake, even though Jordan once shot with his left hand during a rowing performance against the Atlanta Hawks.
More commonly, though, Jordan shows off by shooting with his eyes closed, suggesting this could just be a mirror effect bug in the tattoo, or that Vinicius is a bigger basketball fan than anyone thought.
