Vogue and Ferragamo: a special dinner for Maximilian Davis and Rafael Pavarotti

It was a year ago when Ferragamo appointed Maximilian Davis as Creative Director. More or less 365 days later, while waiting for the fashion show on Saturday 25 February, Vogue and the Florentine brand together celebrate the British designer with the photographer Rafael Pavarotti, who has just signed the new campaign for the spring summer collection, with an “intimate dinner” 2023, the first collection by Maximilian Davis for Ferragamo, which tells the new aesthetic codes of the maison, its new language of contemporary and sophisticated luxury.

The fashion community (and not only) found themselves in a beautiful location, a former factory from the 1920s, an almost intact place of industrial architecture, but made magical by white ceramics, pieces of art and design with an vintage. It’s called Mariencò, a place suspended in time not far from the Prada Foundation. On the tables a mise en place that recreates an enchanted forest, everything is pure white with roses and calla lilies to recall the elegant allure of the brand and a red touch that recalls the vibrant Ferragamo red of Pavarotti’s campaign.

Among the guests of the evening, naturally Riccardo Ferragamo, Marco Gobbetti, the managing director of the brand, and Catherin Vautrin; Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful and Francesca Ragazzi, with the editors of all the International Vogues from Margaret Zhang from China to Kerstin Weng from Vogue Germany from Ines Lorenzo from Vogue Spain to Eugenie Trochu from Paris.
But also Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashley Gramm, Anok Yai, Ibrahim Kamara who said about Maximilian Davis

Then there was Sara Sampaio in Ferragamo as well as Nora Attal, Coi Leray, Kelela, Georgia Palmer, Malika Louback. And there were Bella Thorme, Maty Fall and some of the protagonists of the spring summer 2022 campaign such as Vittoria Ceretti and Mona Tougaard. But perhaps, better to let the images do the talking…
