Waitresses share tips for tipping more online and having a blast

TikTok user @lahostelera has more than 170,000 followers and mainly shares her experiences as a waitress. In one of his popular videos, he revealed a trick for getting bigger tips: Give change in small denomination coins, which encourages customers to leave a tip. In one instance, he mentioned that he gave 50, 20, and 10 cent coins, which resulted in customers leaving all their change with him as a tip.

“Guys, here’s a little trick so they can leave you all this as a tip, don’t give them a 1 euro coin and a 50 cent coin because they will take the 1 euro so they will leave everything I leave it all to you,” the waitress.

The video has been viewed more than 760,000 times and sparked controversy. Some customers are angry and believe that workers should not be tipped since they are already paid. Others criticized the price, saying the bill was high enough without the need for an extra tip.

In response to the criticism, the waitress said she respects all opinions. Then, in another video, he shared his joy at receiving a generous tip (a 10-euro note) from a customer.
