Here are the first photos Owner, the second film by Bradley Cooper, in which the lead actor plays Leonard Bernstein and will be in competition at the 80th Venice Film Festival. A biopic that Cooper also co-wrote (with screenwriter Searchlight Josh Singer) and producer, chronicles the life of the renowned conductor and composer, with a focus on his tumultuous 25-year marriage to Felicia Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan.
Maya Hawk plays Jamie’s daughter and Sam Nivola plays Alexander’s son. The cast also includes Matt Bomer, Sarah Silverman, Gideon Glick, Gabe Fazio, Eric Parkinson, William Hill, Nick Blamire, Oscar Pavlo, Tim Rogan and Mallory Portnoy. Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg are also producers.
Cooper’s directorial debut was the 2018 remake. A star is born with him and Lady Gaga, who was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture. Cooper was also nominated for Best Actor in an Adapted Screenplay and Gaga won for Original Song with small.
