In a meeting that was held at the SUM of the Children’s Hospital, members of the Chamber of Companies of the Tandil Information Technology Center (CEPIT) presented the 2022 work plan for the construction of a single interoperable, scalable and integration platform for all the local health actors.
The initiative is part of the Tandil Health Network project, which the Municipality presented in July of this year and which currently allows residents of Tandil to access their digital medical records and information associated with their care in the public sphere.
On that occasion, the communal government announced free access for all private institutions that decide to begin to implement the history implemented by the Integrated Public Health System and confirmed that with the support of CEPIT, progress would be made in the development of the different technological tools to implement as part of an agreement that they signed with the private actors, to initiate a process of articulation and development of joint projects to continue strengthening the integration of the systems.
The presentation of the work plan for 2022 prepared by the Chamber of Companies of the Informatics Pole was in charge of the main authorities of the institution, President Mauricio Salvatierra, and Vice President Santiago Lima and was addressed to community officials, health authorities, councilors, and representatives of health institutions, schools and associations.
After the meeting, Mayor Lunghi said: “We believe that it will be a tool for the development of a city with medical excellence, focused on our people. We are taking an important step in this initiative that we carry out from the Integrated Public Health System together with private providers, with the purpose of positioning Tandil as the center of excellence for medicine in the province of Buenos Aires ”.
“Health has always been one of our main priorities and in all these years, working together and with the effort of all the people of Tandil, we have achieved achievements that already position us as provincial benchmarks in this regard. But we are not satisfied and that is why we continue to develop new projects to continue improving the quality of the service accessed by locals. Undoubtedly, this is a great challenge, but with the articulation between the public and private sectors and the contribution of CEPIT, I have no doubt that we will meet it, “he said.
He also highlighted that “Tandil has enormous potential, with an associated management scheme, of articulation between the public and private sectors in different areas and with the conviction of joining forces to capitalize on all the talent and innovation that we have, as in this case in the IT sector, and continue the process of building a leader, innovative and creative Tandil ”.
