We have been supporting and implementing medical projects in the southern African country of Mozambique for almost three decades. For 20 of those years, our team has been adapting strategies to help communities facing the HIV epidemic, especially in the capital, Maputo.

In this urban area, we established HIV-focused key projectsthis tuberculosis and chronic viral hepatitis.In Nampula Province, our current project focuses on caring for people with neglected diseases.

Our humanitarian medical program in Mozambique

Since 2022, our team, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, has been working on a project in the Mogoboolas region of the Nampula province in northern Mozambique, about 2,000 kilometers from Maputo.

The project aims to address deficiencies in the health system in: Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of selected neglected tropical diseasesas Lymphatic filariasis and Schistosomiasisand vector-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue.
