Timberlake has already announced the song that he will perform on the inaugural special air. “A few months ago, during isolation, Ant Clemons and I wrote a song called Better Days together. The past year has brought a lot of disappointment, grief, anger – and there were times when it was easy to feel powerless. This song was our way of inspiring everyone not to give up hope … and keep working towards a better, equitable future. I am honored to announce that we will perform this song on January 20 at the President’s inauguration. We have a long way to go to fix and rebuild this country … but I hope that now, despite the last four years, we are on the way to it, ”he wrote on Instagram.
