What symptom of Omicron is detected in the bathroom

With Delta and the variants that preceded it they were easier to identify with symptoms that included new and ongoing cough, fever, and especially loss of taste and/or smell. Now Ómicron seems to “camouflage” much better.

The researchers discovered that several of its signs could be confused with the symptoms of the seasonal diseases like the flu and colds.

The United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) says that people infected with COVID-19 may have a wide range of symptoms which can range from a stuffy nose to breathing difficulties that require immediate medical attention.

As for Omicron, one of those symptoms may be a little different than the others and it focuses on what we do in the bathroom. From the CDC they warned that diarrhea it could be a sign that we have caught the strain.

NBC Chicago exposed that the people with compromised immune systemsare the most likely to experience diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms.

Other symptoms

Needless to say, this is not the only symptom, although it must be taken into account. According to recently published data, Ómicron produces a disease lighter than the Delta variant, especially in those who are vaccinated.

These signs are those that usually appear 48 hours after infection:

Irritation or sore throat – Fever – Runny nose – Fatigue – Cough – Sneezing – Low back pain – Headache – Night sweats – Muscle aches.

Infrequently, it can cause lack of appetite and skin rash. Of the latter, two types have been detected so far. In addition, and unusually, it can cause red eye or conjunctivitis and hair loss.
