Where is Barbie Land really? Science answers

IN BarbieNew film Greta Gerwig based on famous Mattel toys featuring Margot Robbie AND Ryan Gosling (our review is here), all dolls live in an imaginary land called Barbieland. According to the plot of the film, the main characters manage to get into the real world along the exact path. In Barbie, the Moon’s orientation places Barbieland between 20 and 40 degrees north latitude on Earth. Palm trees also limit the latitude to between 20 and 30 degrees. The sun and moon rise and set over the ocean,” he wrote. If it were in the United States, Barbie’s land would be somewhere in the Florida Keys (1,700 kilometers southeast of the United States).

Barbie was sent Greta Gerwig who signed the script co-written with her husband and famous director Noah Baumbach.
