Planting plan

It’s not every day that a huge new music venue is built in a city, and it’s safe to say that a lot of people will be looking forward to it. Ahead of its opening next year, we’ve rounded up the information you’ll need most.

Co-op Live opening date and capacity

Manchester’s newest music venue is scheduled to open in April 2024. The first concerts will take place shortly after this. Olivia Rodrigo will be followed by shows from Keane, Take That and Eric Clapton throughout May.

When fully completed and open, Co-op Live will have a maximum capacity of 23,500 people. By comparison, this will be the largest indoor arena in the country. Manchester’s AO Arena is currently the largest, with a maximum capacity of 21,000, while London’s O2 Arena, with its 20,000 capacity, will drop to third place.

Where to Park During Co-op Live

Co-op Live will be located close to the Etihad Campus and Etihad Stadium. Co-op Live said that instead of driving to the venue, they are actively encouraging fans to use public transport and the updated walking route. However, they added that accessible parking will be available.

Given this, the easiest way to get to the venue is by Metrolink. There are several stations within walking distance of the property, including Etihad Campus.

Live Co-op Seating Plan

While the first show is still months away, tickets are already on sale for all of them, giving us a chance to see what the seating plan looks like. The image provided by Ticketmaster is a general overview and Co-op Live adds that the exact schedule for each event will be available at the time of ticket purchase.
