In a wait made even stronger by the unreleased scenes of the international trailer of Shazam! 2, the director of the film reflected on the most likely candidate for a possible spin-off.
“Mary seems like an obvious choice, because she’s big, even in old comics, Shazam! Mary and Freddy. Mary could be the right option. I will always love Darla too, because she is the most innocent and childish of them all“said director David F. Sandberg.

In Shazam 2 Mary will be played by Grace Fulton, or rather: Grace Fulton will play both Graces. For those who don’t know what we mean, Fulton will be the actress who will bring to life both ‘human’ Grace and ‘superheroine’ Grace, initially replaced by Michelle Borth. As also happened in Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the character will see make-up and hair changes evident enough to show two different versions.
“Yes, Grace plays both parts. But her hair and makeup are different when she becomes a superhero, so no one will recognize her. Hey, it works for Wonder Woman!“, Sandberg said.
In the meantime, there appear to be some concerns about the film’s box office. The first box office estimates of Shazam! Fury of the Gods do not promise well, but we must not be in a hurry: they lack little more than two weeks until the release of the second chapter of Shazam!and the data may unexpectedly increase.
