American rock legend Bruce Springsteen announced on Wednesday that he will postpone the remaining dates of his 2023 tour until next year while he recovers from treatment for a peptic ulcer.
A statement said the 74-year-old singer “continues to make a stable recovery” and will continue to receive treatment based on medical advice for the remainder of the year.

Springsteen has been touring with his “E Street Band” since the beginning of the year. But earlier this month, he announced that he would postpone his concert in the United States in September due to illness. He also postponed two shows in August due to an unspecified illness.
“Rescheduled dates for each show in 2023, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week and will all take place at their original venues,” the statement said.
He added that if you are unable to attend on the new date, you may be asked for a refund.
Springsteen, the author of hits such as “Streets of Philadelphia” and “Dancing in the Dark,” has sold more than 150 million records.
According to the Mayo Clinic, peptic ulcers are open sores that form on the lining of the stomach and upper part of the small intestine. The most common symptom is abdominal pain.
