When this system receives incorrect information from the sensor, it causes the aircraft to descend by moving the tail fins, even if the nose of the aircraft is not raised.

According to Boeing, if the plane dives on its own, the pilot must turn off the electric motors of those ailerons and stop the plane’s dive by turning the manual control wheel.

Boeing admits there was a problem and should have issued a software update that would have prevented this in January at the latest, but it did not. On the other hand, they say it wasn’t my fault that the plane crashed, and they should have made sure the sensor worked and the pilots followed dive-stop procedures. In other words, the pilot or technical team is liable because they did not take the correct precautions for the known problem on board.

But airlines and pilots were not informed that the Boeing 737 MAX, which was the first plane to crash, had such a system, and Boeing sent a statement after the accident.
