Captain America: The Winter Soldier Hayley Atwell reveals that Peggy Carter’s family changed at the last minute.
One of the greatest mysteries Marvel Cinematic Universe For several years I have been preoccupied with the personality of my husband Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). After the events of Captain America: The First Avenger and from the series Agent Cartermany fans assumed that Peggy got married Daniel Souza (Enver Gjokaj), but in the final Avengers: Endgame we learned that Steve Rogers alias Captain America (Chris Evans) traveled back in time to reunite with his lover.
During a recent interview with Collider for a promotion Mission Impossible – Paying for Death, Hailey Atwell showed that a certain element Captain America: The Winter Soldier it was changed at the last minute to keep the secret about Peggy’s husband:
I remember during filming, the prop manager put a framed painting by Peggy’s bed. It was a photo of Peggy with her husband and children.. But then, just before we started filming, Louis D’Esposito (Co-President of Marvel Studios) walked in and said,With them. We don’t know yet. We don’t want to be limited to the assumption that this is the man Peggy married..’ And then the photo was taken. And I thought, “Okay, this is very interesting.”
I think that (Marvel Studios) succeeded in this. They are great at giving viewers what they want and exceeding expectations.. And I think that’s why I always aware of the amount of information the public needs to knowto get involved, but at the same time surprise them with new information.
