Tonight (Thursday 27) and Saturday a double meeting with the eighteenth edition of the Teatro del Silencio called “Mariposa” in Andrea Bocelli’s native hills. Gorgeous guests for a show that, as always, will not be easy to forget: along with Emma Marrone, the first official guest, the cast on stage will be truly top notch. In fact, there will also be Carlo Bernini, a talented pianist and conductor, known for being the artistic director and collaborator of Andrea Bocelli, with whom he played and conducted in numerous concerts in Italy and around the world, including at prestigious events such as G8, Nobel Peace Prize, Concert for Peace in the Middle East and Papal Audience. Among the performers with Andrea Bocelli will be Luca Micheletti, one of the brightest baritones of the contemporary opera scene. Micheletti has stood out for his extraordinary interpretation of the leading roles of Mozart and Verdi, performing on the stages of the most prestigious theaters in Italy and abroad, such as the Teatro della Scala, the Sydney Opera House and the Tokyo Spring Festival.
Also announced was the presence of Giovanni Caccamo, a singer-songwriter discovered by Franco Battiato, with a warm and powerful voice which, combined with his artistic sensibility, made him highly regarded by the public and critics. In 2015, he won the Sanremo Festival in the “New Offers” category with the song “I will return to you”, and in subsequent years he devoted himself to music, releasing several albums, including “Qui per te” in 2015 and ” Eterno. in 2018, and to acting, participation in Italian theatrical productions, films and television series.
For the first time in Italy, Lauren Allred, the hidden voice of The Greatest Showman soundtrack, will take the stage at Lajatico. Allred rose to prominence by appearing on the American television talent show The Voice in 2012 with Team Adam Levine. It was at the audition that she captivated the audience by singing “Never Enough” and revealing that she had played the voice of Jenny Lind in the film.
Among the performers who will support the maestro will also be Sara Cortolesis, a soprano born in 1991, who can boast of winning the International Verdian Voice Competition in Busseto (2022), organized by the Teatro Regio in Parma. He sang in such operas as Don Giovanni, Rondina, La bohème and La traviata, while continuing his career as a jazz singer. Stage clothes for her were made by stylist Eleonora Lastrucci.
The artists will be accompanied by the orchestra of the Luigi Boccherini Conservatory, consisting of the best students and teachers of the prestigious school under the direction of maestro Gianpaolo Mazzoli.
