Chiavari – The heat of vaulting for Chiavari, who hosts again this year “Chiavari Summer Dance Festival”, The event, created to promote, disseminate and support the culture of dance, will return to the Sampierdaikken Sports Hall on Wednesday 19th. The event is organized by Rina Silotti, Grazia Tringale, Silvia Rocca and Michael Fascaldo, collaborator of the “ASD – Chiavari Wellness Body Center”, with the collaboration of the Italian Sports Center and the patronage of the municipality. The festival program includes four days of internship, two rooms with seventy lessons, conducted by renowned teachers, divided into street and dance.
Students coming from all over Italy will have the opportunity to study with Masters of international caliber Elena D’Amario, professional Italian dancer and choreographer of the television program “Amici” of Maria De Filippi, who will organize a lesson accompanied by live music on the occasion; Alex Atjevi, one of the most acclaimed dancers, choreographer and contemporary dance teacher in Italy and in the world and artistic director of the Atjevi Dance Company; Spongy, dancer and choreographer for such notable international artists as R.Kelly, CB2K, CN’Sync, Sean Paul, Backstreetboys, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears; Amilcar Moret González is a principal dancer on many European stages, such as the Hamburg Ballet and the Zurich Ballet.
“It’s almost there 10th edition of the festival Chiavaresi is dedicated to dance – says Gianluca Ratto, councilor for promotion of the city – an opportunity for young students coming from different regions, to know and encounter high-level professionals and, above all, to gain new training experiences Occasion. Several events are scheduled each evening. The opening ceremony will be enriched by a contemporary dance show from Atzewi Dance Company, which will be hosted by Moret Gonzalez.
“Chiavari Summer Dance Festival” will conclude July 23 with the competition of academic subjects. In the jury, Alex Etzevi, Mario Glaze, Lise Marie Kulm, Monica Ratti, Anna Rita Largi. Marthe VG from Holland for the Hip Hop Choreographic Competition and Battle Mixstyle; Frankava from France, and Rada from Italy. As in previous editions, there will be parties on the sea.
