“It makes me feel really good. It makes me feel lucky. It makes me feel lucky. I feel proud to know so many people I look up to and deeply respect who also live in this universe among me.”

In a video from her last day on Guardians 3 On set, Saldana thanked director James Gunn for his faith in her and also said that she would miss the role, but not “Four Hour Makeup” process:

“Every time I feel like I’m about to lose my temper, I look around and see the people that I really want to see here because they have a real passion, a real, genuine love for what we do. , and it always reminds me that we are very lucky, we are very fortunate to be here. And I want to thank you because you were a wonderful person. You believed in me before I believed in myself. So thanks for sticking with me, and… I’ll miss Gamora, but I won’t miss the four-hour make-up.

Saldana previously spoke to Games Radar, confirming that this would also be her last film; however, she made it clear that she did not want “Gamora Leaves” after she left:

“I think it’s time for me to step down and let the next generation step forward. The only thing I wouldn’t want is for Gamora to leave. She was such an influential character for fans, and especially for female fans, and young female fans.”

She marked it initially “subscribed to one” movie before Guardians of the Galaxy and received a ten-year break in this role, which gave her the opportunity to move on, feeling satisfied with the experience:

“But am I on my own? I mean, I signed up for one and got 10 years. I’m lucky, man. I have no complaints. And I move on with such grace and gratitude in my heart.”

While Saldana seems content to be done with her role, she previously discussed that this may not be the end for Star-Lord and Gamora, saying they may “find a way back into each other’s lives” in some capacity.

Will Gamora return to the MCU?

Since Saldana confessed his feelings “stuck in… franchises” like the MCU and Avatars movie, seeing her end her time with Guardians The series isn’t too much of a shock.
