Although it’s a little more raunchy compared to others on this list, Beetle juice is still an incredibly charming and funny Halloween movie with all the usual Tim Burton quirks. Michael Keaton gives a hilarious performance as the title character and Winona Ryder is simply amazing. Additionally, the special effects and makeup are top notch and perfectly complement the cartoonish/scary atmosphere of this film.
The Addams Family and all of its various television shows and movies have been an American staple for decades. There are many iconic adaptations of this delightfully dark family, but the original 1991 film The Addams Family still hits like nothing else. Shout out to Christina Ricci, Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston for their iconic performances that are sure to stand the test of time.

The Mystery Incorporated gang features an all-star cast of Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini. Never before has the Mystery Incorporated gang been so individual. Although the computer graphics are not up to today’s standards, Scooby Doo It’s an incredible dose of nostalgia in an adorable package.
Halloweentown is definitely near the top of the mountain for Disney Channel Original Movies. As someone who enjoys the good aspects of Halloween more than the scary parts, Halloweentown creates a calming atmosphere in a charming Disney film. The vibrant and whimsical visuals of Halloweentown still captivate me.
