In the Eastern Dolomites, on the border between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, Three Peaks of Lavaredo they stand on a plateau at an altitude of almost 2400 meters. Like the three menhirs, Tre Cime is composed of clay and striped dolomite, formed more than 200 million years ago as a result of precipitation in water. They are visible from this cave, very popular with tourists and not far from the site. It can be reached by walking a few kilometers from Auronzo’s hideout.

In North Borneo, Malaysia, Nia archaeological site it was discovered by explorer Tom Harrison in the 1950s, when a large amount of prehistoric pottery, jewelry, tools, and rock art was found. The caves offer views of lush vegetation, rainforest with numerous species of animals and plants. The caves can be accessed by crossing the Niah River and crossing a footbridge.

This incredible creation of nature can be reached by going to Puerto Rico and crossing Lake General Carrera. There “marble cathedral”, in the heart of Patagonia, was shaped by water 300 million years ago: limestone reacted to intense heat to form marble. The evocatively named cathedral is twinned with a similar but smaller “chapel” nearby.
