The singer, originally from Riolo Terme, Maria Chiara Leoni, also known as “MeriCler”, returns tomorrow morning (June 9) for the last episode of “Viva Rai 2” via Asiago are live. The singing adventure began in the month of February when Maria Chiara sent a selection video to the broadcast video box. Within a few days, she was selected to record her performance in a television box. The result was positive and Maria Chiara was subsequently invited to a preview for the March 16 episode, during which she performed the song “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. All this happened in a matter of minutes, while Fiorello, busy preparing the final details for the broadcast of the program, heard Maria Chiara singing on a low frequency. Thus, the promising singer of Riolo Terme demonstrated his vocal skills to the television audience and the audience of “Viva Rai Due” with three musical interventions during the morning.
Maria Chiara Leoni has always combined studies with music. Last autumn she obtained a Master’s degree in Communication and Advertising at the University of Urbino, without neglecting the study of singing in various specializations, including modern singing, jazz and opera singing. In recent years he has participated in musical theater workshops. He also recorded three songs available on the Spotify music platform: “Carillon”, “Parentesi” and “Tirmi Su”. The passion for music began at a young age for Maria Chiara, who had Monia Visani from Casola Valcenio as a singing teacher. “I love to sing and experiment”, explains the artist, “I love to explore different sounds and enjoy mixing the world of pop with other genres”. For some years, Maria Chiara has also performed as a “street performer” in the context of an acoustic project, in cities such as Bologna and Milan, with Lisca, a young guitarist from Casola Valcenio.
