The Raiders are clearly in disarray again.
But boss Mark Davis, who made major changes to the company this week, reportedly has only one adviser to help him through the company’s recent turmoil, and that adviser is Jim Gray.

The Raiders fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler earlier this week amid serious turmoil within the club.
This all comes just weeks after Davis reportedly became “erratic and angry.”
Trask said the owners have someone outside of Gray’s team who can help solve the problems the team faces.
“He did have outside counsel,” Trask, who worked for the Raiders from 1983 to 2013, including 16 years as CEO, said of Davis. Davis inherited the team after the death of his famous father, Al. year 2011.
“Jim Gray has ties to Tom Brady and is one of his very, very important advisors,” Trask continued. “There are others. Ron Wolf, Ken Herock, both of them have very strong football backgrounds. Mike Ornstein is a consultant.
“So, he does have an advisor outside the building.”
Gray is a longtime sportscaster and reporter who now works with Showtime and SiriusXM and previously worked with ESPN to co-host the radio show “Let’s Go!” with future NFL Hall of Famer Tom Brady and With Larry Fitzgerald.
Of course, Brady has been linked to the Raiders multiple times since retiring last season.
Brady reportedly purchased a minority stake in the team in September, but the matter remained unresolved after meeting with NFL owners in late October.
Former New York Giants standout and Super Bowl champion Antonio Pierce will take over as interim head coach, and his first game will be against his old team.
