Sometimes you need to remind people

Just a week ago, the Los Angeles Lakers were just 3-5 and it looked like they might not be as good as they looked on paper. But then LeBron James came to the rescue, something he’s done many times for his team over the years.

On November 10, he scored 32 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists against the Phoenix Suns, ending Los Angeles’ three-game losing streak. He followed that up with a triple-double on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings and back-to-back 30-plus point scores on Friday and Sunday to help the team win five of their past six games.

In Sunday’s game, he scored 37 points and eight assists to help the team beat the Houston Rockets 105-104. He has previously responded to critics on social media who still claim he only came to the Lakers to make movies and other non-basketball activities. He was asked about the social media post after Sunday’s game and said sometimes he needs to “remind people.”

James admitted after the game that he felt sick during the game and suffered several injuries, including a calf contusion. But now he’s playing as well as ever, even though he’s just over a month away from turning 39.
