Sony Pictures has released a red-band trailer for its upcoming Marvel film, kraven the hunterwho will see Aaron Taylor Johnson in the lead role.
kraven the hunter R classification (i.e. prohibited for children under 18 years of age) and you will understand why by watching this trailer. In fact, as we’ve known for several months now, the film doesn’t hold back when it comes to violence.
the film is described as “The awe-inspiring story of how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains was born.” The story is also told set “before his infamous revenge with Spider-Man”Which means this movie could actually bring the character to the fore of Spider-Man.
In Kravan the Hunter, Russian immigrant Sergei Kravinoff is on a mission to prove he’s the world’s greatest hunter. Taylor-Johnson defined the project “A Marvel movie that’s firmly anchored in the real world. We know he’s a ruthless hunter, a highly trained killer.”, And he enthusiastically declared: “Shit, yeah, it’ll be R-rated!”.
Jesse Chandor directed the film from a screenplay by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), and stars Ariana DeBose as Calypso, Russell Crowe as Nikolai Kravinoff, Fred Hechinger as the Chameleon, Alessandro Nivola as an unknown villain, Levi Miller, and also starred as Coma 22 stars Christopher Abbott as the main villain, The Stranger.
Kraven the Hunter will hit theaters on October 6, 2023, but in the meantime, here’s the first trailer:
